Campus Parking

Parking lot 47 is closest to John D. Kemper Hall, Ghausi Hall and Bainer Hall.

A valid UCD permit is required to park on campus. Daily Visitor Permits (VP) are available for $9.00 and may be purchased from permit dispensing machines located at the entrances to VP Lots 1, 2, 5, 15, 17, 22, 25, 30, 31, 35, 40, 47, 49, 50, 53, 55, 56, 57, 81, Hopkins Parking Facility, Putah Creek Lodge, and the North, South, and West Entry Parking Structures. Visitors also have the option of purchasing a multi-use visitor permit (up to 10 uses) or an EasyPark Personal Parking Meter from the TAPS office.

Visitor permits are valid for the date purchased and are honored in the above lots Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost of Visitor parking permits is not refundable. Permits should be displayed on the driver’s side dashboard of the vehicle. Visitor permits are not honored in restricted spaces.

After 5pm, Visitor Permits are also available for $9.00 from permit dispensing machines located at many of the entrances to “A” Permit parking lots. These permits are valid in non-restricted parking spaces and at meters Monday through Friday, and are valid only on the night purchased. Permit dispensers accept $1 and $5 bills, Visa and Master Card.

Parking Meters are available to any motor vehicle for the time purchased by coin (or when an EasyPark is displayed and in use), not to exceed the length of time posted for the area. Meter feeding is prohibited. The vehicle must be moved when the maximum time has elapsed.

See the Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) website for the most current information on parking.

If you park a vehicle (including a motorcycle or moped) on the Davis campus you must have a valid parking permit or pay at a meter Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 pm.
